History:

Trafalgar Milton Homes is a former township in Halton County in Ontario, Canada. The Township was opened for settlement in 1806, the year of the Battle of Trafalgar, and settlement began the following year. Population centres were Oakville, Bronte and Milton.

In 1962 the better part of the township of Trafalgar was merged with the Town of Oakvile to become the Municipality of Oakville-Trafalgar. Since the restructuring of the whole of Halton County into the Regional Municipality of Halton in 1973, the area has been known as the Town of Oakville.

The northwestern section, including the Town of Milton, was transferred to Esquesing Township. This border was moved somewhat southward in the restructuring of 1973.

Trafalgar Milton Homes is a rural area in south Milton, just north of Oakville. It is named after the former Trafalgar Township.
