How much are homes selling for now? Looking at the average listing price vs the Selling price

Zoocasa Posted this chart on October 11th indicating that sellers are struggling and the market is almost fully shifted into a buyer’s market. Look at these Quotes!

The city with the greatest difference in listing and selling price is Halton Hills. Homes in the area are selling for $1,083,709, 42.94% below the list price of $1,899,398. Caledon has the second greatest difference, with the average sale price at $1,363,853, 42.12% lower than the average listing price of $2,356,199.

In November 2023 we are fully into a buyer’s market with most major and minor cities in Ontario. If you are a buyer you have some amazing opportunities to purchase a home, way less, even if the listing price suggests otherwise. The real question is, which properties are negotiable, and for how much!?
