Ford is a lovely densely residential neighborhood. Located in the South West corner of Milton. It has a boarder of Ontario (Highway 25) to Bronte and Louse St Laurent to Britannia. Ford is surrounded by popular neighborhoods such as Willmont, Cobban, Coates and Harrison.
Ford Is a nice quiet and relatively new area in the Milton Community. Home here were built from Spring 2017, so the community is 0-3 years old. Some of the builders responsible are Mattamy, country homes and Fernbrook. All the homes here are new, modern and nice however having compact lot sizes such as 30, 36 and 43 feet are common. New homes are still under construction as another 8000 homes or so are planned to be built in the area.
Places of note
1. Leger Park is almost done construction between St Scholastica and Viola Desmond, which is a nice park for kids, with plenty of green space, 2 basketball courts and a baseball diamond. 2. There is empty land on the South-West corner of Bronte and Louse St Laurent. The city has confirmed a 300,000 Square foot plaza to be built in 2-3 years. Behind it all residential homes. 3. It is basically the closest area to the Milton Waste Management facility as well as Rattle snake point both off Bronte Rd. which happens to be a easiest way to Oakville. 4. The 407 has a car pool and on ramp on Bronte Between Milton and Oakville. 5. Across from Jean Vanier, there is a Large plaza with Sobeys, LCBO, beer Store, Pizzaville, Subway some Banks and so on.
