History:
Burlington’s Alton Village community was first developed in 2006 and is still undergoing some finishing touches. It’s Burlington’s newest neighborhood. The community was developed with a strong focus on great urban design with an attractive streetscape. Framed by the beautiful Niagara Escarpment, Alton Village provides its residents with the tranquility of living far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to numerous amenities.
Overview:
Alton, or Alton Village, is a newer neighborhood in north Burlington. Homes are a mix of detached, townhomes, and condominiums, and residents enjoy easy access to commuter highways. This community has parks and amenities just outside everyone’s front door.
Lifestyle:
This neighborhood has many shops, services, and amenities to make your daily errands easy. The biggest one is the Smart Centre, which includes Walmart, Kelsey’s Restaurant, Boston Pizza, Subway, and much more. Some notable places are; 1 Metro Millcroft and 6 other grocery stores, 3 Starbucks and 4 other coffee shops, 3 Shoppers Drug Mart and 9 other pharmacies, 1 Snap Fitness Alton Village and 12 other gyms.
